Meressev Ltd is a municipally-owned company which was established in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, in 1954 as a cooperative for employment of disabled people. Today the company employs 87 people, 65% of which are disabled. Because of the employees' disabilities, the company is granted preferences from the state.

Meressev's fields of activities include:

• clothes manufacturing;
• packing materials production;
• printing and bookbinding;

The company has a number of satisfied customers throughout the region: Mini Maritza Iztok AD, Thermal Power Plant-2 AD, Slance AD, Natalia AD, Preskov AD, the Association of the Private Transport Companies.

Meressev Ltd has been present on the market for 50 years and it has gained a reputation of reliable customer to its clients. Despite the difficult conditions for operation during the transition period in Bulgaria, the company has been successful in combining its business and social functions and providing jobs to people with disabilities.
